Been to this particular location a hand full of times. Great atmosphere. Customer service is attentive and friendly. Tuesday night trivia is a must. Added bonus, happy hour during trivia. Guacamole is always fresh! Food is very good and reasonably priced. The owner is personable and has quality standards for her waitstaff, good and overall guest experience. Highly recommend.
Melissa at the drive through met me with a smile. She was very niceand offered me to sign up with rewards. She gave me extra napkins, like I asked because I eat in my work truck. She was very friendly and I appreciate that. My food was good, and fresh. I called the manager and gave him my review as well.
Sunday brunch/lunch out with family. Their street tacos were so delicious. My son recommended them after we tried them at another frequented restaurant. I highly recommend trying these tender delicious morsels of grilled meat tacos.
Since it's Taco Tuesday, we went to @laspalapasrestaurants for dinner tonight.
Raul took good care of us. Dad had the Lemonade, my husband had the Arnold Palmer, and I had a Margarita. My husband had the Crispy Taco Plate. Dad and I had breakfast for dinner in mind. Dad had a cup of Chicken soup, and the kid's meal with Pancake, Scrambled Eggs, and 2 strips of Bacon. I had the Barbacoa Plate. Love the rice substitution! So much leftover for lunch tomorrow. So good!
The food was very good. The Margarita was great for only $5.00. The sopapillas were flat, not puffy. Not that great.
We pulled up in the coldest day of the year, and they were closed by like 30 seconds. They took out order anyway and we got to meet the cutest, nicest prettiest girl I'd seen all day. And she was awesome. She set up fat. The guys didn't reach the road before it was gone. Hadn't eaten all day so it went down quick. The bowls are perfect sized fur one big meal. Two people could potentially share one if need be, but you wouldn't be American full. All in all, well with the 25 bucks we spent. Try em out!!!
I really hate giving a bad review, but I have had 2 bad experiences within the last 3 weeks. I come here often to get breakfast for myself and a coworker. I pretty much order the same thing every time. The first bad experience (I should have stayed away) was after I took a huge bite of my taco and a hair (a very long one) was in food. I should have stopped there, no.. again, I've gone here numerous times. It could have just been a fluke.. well, fast forward to today. I ordered the same thing (checked it for hair), but the bacon was so old!! It was super hard! It definitely wasn't fresh! I mean, almost beef jerky status! This was one of my favorite spots to eat at after work (after a long day) and for breakfast. It's sad that I have to find somewhere else to go now.
This is why we don’t order from DoorDash for los Palapas on Sunday because they don’t go to the best los Palapas on Blanco. They go to this one. And then our order is always wrong. Instead of two potato and egg tacos we got to chorizo and potato tacos. Totally not the same thing. then we ordered dark sauce and green sauce. No green sauce in this worker just dark and red. What’s up?
